Educational use
These tools provide educational calculations and are not financial or legal advice. Results are mathematical estimates based on the inputs and assumptions shown on each page. They are not loan offers, approvals, valuations, payoff quotes, or recommendations to enter a contract.
Monthly model
The loan calculations assume fixed rates, equal monthly periods, and payments applied to interest and principal. They exclude daily interest adjustments, penalties, late fees, missed payments, balloon payments, and changes to contract terms. The tool treats entered APR as the annual amortization rate; a disclosed APR that includes costs can differ from the contract interest rate used for the actual payment.
Taxes, values, and costs
You supply rates, tax inputs, fees, and vehicle values. The site does not determine state tax treatment or predict resale value. The lease comparison subtracts supplied ending equity and does not include the time value of money. Costs omitted from your inputs are omitted from your results.
Reference data
The Federal Reserve reference is a dated observation for the specified series. It is not an assurance of an available rate. Refer to the observation date and data retrieval date, and check the official source for revisions. Compare all outputs with your written purchase quote and loan or lease agreement.
